While considered the low end of the Fort Knox products, the Fort Knox Maverick 6637 Gun Safe – CLEARANCE still laughs at nearly all “Gun Safes” in the industry today and maintains most of the standard features found on the Vault lines.

Cranking up the heat to 1200°, the Fort Knox Maverick 6637 is fire rated for 75 minutes of Inferno Shield fire protection with its 1-1/8″ reinforced fire door consisting of 3/8″ steel plate, 1 layer of fireboard and outer reinforcement. Add in the heat activated Palusol dual thermal door seal and your vault will be locked, sealed and ready to block the worst that flames have to offer.

When it comes to security, the Fort Knox Maverick 6637 is UL listed due to its 10 gauge steel, uni-body construction with Quadrafold door frame, drill deflector bolt guard and (9) 1-1/2″ diameter active solid steel locking bolts.

On the door of the Fort Knox Maverick 6637 lies a S&G Group II manipulation resistant lock, spy-proof & key lock dial protected by a drill stop hard plate with recessed multi-bearings. After you dial in the correct combination, you’ll turn the 5 spoke clutch drive handle available in gold, chrome or black chrome and see the beautiful two tone interior. The more simplistic interior features painted interior walls and carpeted shelving.

New for 2020 all Fort Knox safes now come with a factory installed power outlet included, allowing you to charge and use electronics like watch winders, dehumidifiers or lights.
